Thank you to everyone who has signed and shared this petition! We have close to 950 signatures already, and well over 100 supportive comments!

It’s clear that many parents want longer, adult supervised lunches for their elementary school aged children. 

If you feel comfortable and haven’t yet shared this online with your own friends and contacts, please do!  If we can get 200 parents in each of BC’s 60 school districts, we will have 12,000 signatures!!  

I intend to follow every possible avenue of success on this issue, but I can’t do it alone. We need the government and the BCTF to take us seriously, and that takes a lot of signatures and comments of explanation and support.
