Legendary Radio Presenter Billy Butler has been on air for the past 47 years & is an absolute icon for the City of Liverpool. It was an honour & a privilege to work on air with Billy especially as I had grown up listening to him with my Nan. Surely if a Radio Presenter as good as Billy who is loved by so many has given almost 50 years to this industry shouldn’t it be his decision when to hang up his headphones? Please help me to keep Billy Butler at BBC Radio Merseyside where he belongs.
