CBeebies is a children's TV channel that launched in 2002. It has had a number of Presenters and more than 10,000 children have watched the channel since its launch.

Some parents who used to be children miss all the old school retro programmes, I am a mild Autism sufferer and I love retro TV shows.

So that's why I came up with the idea of CBeebies Retro. It will be a side channel to CBeebies but it will show old kids shows like:

Jackanory

Danger Mouse

Chorlton And The Wheelies

Willo The Wisp

SuperTed

Jamie And The Magic Torch

the list goes on!

Some of the shows here are not made by the BBC but they will show them on their channel for nostalgic purposes!

 

I think it would be a great idea because all parents that used to watch these shows when they were kids can show their children what they used to watch as a child! It would be a fantastic edition to Sky/Freeview/Virgin Media.

 

I hope my idea of this channel will get accepted by everyone!
