Great news! You’re one of the 270,000 people who have signed my petition to include the Green Party in the TV leaders’ debates ahead of the 2015 General Election. And the broadcasters are finally starting to move from their entrenched positions. Tonight (26th November) Green Party Leader Natalie Bennett will appear on Leaders’ Live – a series of programmes from ITV News and Bite the Ballot featuring all 5 of the main party leaders. You can watch it live from 6.30pm on https://www.youtube.com/bitenews This is the first time that ITV – which still plans to exclude the Green Party from its main leaders’ debates – has given the Greens’ leader equal billing with other leaders in an election programme.
