The BBC should recognise that ALLcelebrities are golden and stop expecting them to obey petty laws and forcing them to adhere to standards that were invented for the hoi polloi. Clarkson, Saville, Harris, Glitter, Leslie... the list goes on, don't drag them down! Don't clip their wings!

Recognise that when the British public sits on the sofas, eating Doritos, flipping through the TV remote and saying "Oh, that'll do, I don't hate that" that person on the screen is no longer one of us, and should...must...be glorified for ever and ever, amen.
