DJ Tony Blackburn has been sacked by the BBC after almost 49 years service, in light of an allegation from 1971 that he has not been arrested for, or even questioned about. Further to this, the BBC are now claiming that this is also related to evidence he provided to the Savile enquiry, that was rejected. That his version of events did not match the BBC's.

The BBC should be ashamed at their treatment of a loyal employee, who they are convicting without the aid of a jury.
