We have all felt the “Blue Planet Effect” and have since been encouraged to decrease our single use plastic usage. All thanks to the documentary narrated by Sir David Attenborough which has opened our eyes on what we’re doing to this planet. 

However, not many people are aware that the agriculture industry contributes to over 50% of worldwide greenhouse gas emmisions. This is more than the entire travel industry combined!

Other factors include: deforestation, water consumption, species extinction not to mention the cruel conditions in which agriculture is kept and treated in their short lifespan. 

If Sir David Attenborough could explain the effect animal agriculture is having on the world, people may think twice before eating that next beef burger or glass of milk. 

This is something that hasn’t been documented properly on mainstream television at peak hours and Sir David Attenborough would encourage people to watch and take note. Just like the Blue Planet effect.
