Hi Everyone,
Thank you to all of you that are supporting this petition. We have passed 400 signatures in under 24 hours which is phenomenal. Reading your messages has shown me that there are many people that also feel this is not just a question of entertainment this is about introducing the next generation of children to STEM.
There is still a very long way to go as our target is 20000. It is achievable with your help and everyone sharing across your social networks and with your friends. (Reddit/Whatsapp/Facebook/Twitter).
Everyone of you will have different social groups and know people that that would like there children to be inspired about something new or even just watch television together as a family without an argument about there being nothing to watch.
I am doing my best to get in contact with the press and several of the UK teams have also thrown their support behind this petition. The petition is being also being supported by BattleBots and Tom Gutteridge (The creator and producer of original Robot Wars).
The petition has also been mentioned by the therobotsoccerleague.com, I have included a link to the blog and recommend having a read of his predictions of up coming BattleBots fights and more.
