The success of our campaign to save the precious landscape of the North Hampshire Downs could depend on a reduction of housing targets in the borough. Dame Maria Miller MP has launched a petition to call on Basingstoke and Deane to reduce house building to a more sustainable level to allow infrastructure to catch up.
