Hi everyone, it's been a while. It's been quite difficult to ascertain what's going on with this development. What I am reliably told is that the development will not go through 'in its current form', which no doubt means they've given the developers a chance to change their plans or their wording a bit. However, I'm told that the plan is still to demolish, and that opposing demolition is not viewed as grounds for objection.

I don't think the application has been rejected as such, which means the developer does not have to make a new application. It seems to me that some decision makers are throwing the developers softballs, and as usual, Barnet is being a soft touch for greedy developers.
