In December, one of my kindergarten teammates knocked on my classroom door and told me this story: “I had just driven my mom home from the hospital and she went straight to her closet and pulled out this tapestry she made. She handed it to me and said Please give this to someone. I immediately thought of you.” ��

What a mother my teammate has!! First to make such a beautiful hanging but even more impressive is that the first thing she thought about when coming home from a hospital stay is to spread joy and kindness!
I’m so touched!! It took me awhile to decide how and where to hang it so I could have a daily reminder that kindness matters and it comes in all shapes, sizes, and colors.
