In Loudoun County, VA, and across the globe, there is an abundance of trash that is polluting the Earth.  There are horrific consequences when trash ends up in the wrong place.  Animals may consume it, get sick, and even die.  Trash can end up in the water and air.  For example, The Great Pacific Garbage Patch is a huge area of garbage and plastic pellets that may never be cleaned up.  Trash is piling up in neighborhoods, cities, and practically everywhere.  It makes pristine places ugly, it toxifies the environment, and it is a danger to our world.  We need to stop trash and increase the penalty for illegal dumping and littering.
