It has been years since the Slaughterhouse in our Barangay has started operating, and it has also been a number of years since those who are living near the Slaughterhouse are suffering. This is not created for the good of one only, but for the beneficiary of the whole barangay, we have been noticing a lot of changes and have been doing our own personal observations to it. It's releasing of foul smell has been a big distraction to one's everyday life. Yes, everyday life. For the foul smell isn't just released once in a week, it has been like a daily routine. Waking up in the morning with the kind of scent that isn't pleasant, overall isn't good for once health. It has somewhat, slowly and surely affected a child's health, even the elderly's health. The number or the population of those who are living in the barangay has decreased for the reason that the noises have been one of those that affect their time to sleep and rest. And another issue that is needed to be discussed is the lack of the workers ability in cleaning and disposing their waste. Lack of hygienic knowings and ideas is already a big of a reason to shut that slaughterhouse down!
