I am very grateful and thankful to everyone who signed this petition. Sadly, either it hasn't been shared enough, or not enough people care. 100,000 signatures are required before the White House will even look at the petition. Today, a new cease fire was agreed to and some of the people are leaving Haleb. Unfortunately, some in the Hezbollah militia broke the cease fire and shot an ambulance delaying the evacuation. However, it seems that people are leaving, Alhamdulillah. I'm trying to keep up with the latest news, but it is slow coming. In shaa' Allah everyone who is still alive will get out and to safety. I personally know people who have lost family and friends in Haleb and I can't even begin to know how they feel. These atrocities will continue until our governments stand up and say enough. Maybe this petition isn't successful at gaining the attention of the White House, but we must keep trying to persuade them.
