The Bank of Canada has just released a report about its public consultations regarding the design of new bank notes. The online survey (completed by 1,972 people) indicated that "many respondents said greater emphasis should be put on representing gender equality, multiculturalism and aboriginal culture." Which of course is reflected in all the comments you've been posting on the petition page since we started this process in late July 2013! As of today, our petition has been signed by 52,650 people - an impressive show of support. Please keep sharing the petition and trying to get Members of Parliament involved so the Bank will take action. Many thanks!
