Bander Electric Town Hall Meeting

Hello Neighbors, Thank you so very much for writing to Bandera Electric Cooperative (BEC) to express your interest in bringing fiber optic services to our community. BEC’s Director of Public Relations, Amy Zink, informed me BEC is planning to host a town hall meeting at the end of June to discuss broadband needs of members in the Boerne area. They are currently in the planning process so details will be forthcoming. Upon receipt of the meeting details I will, in turn, notify you (our neighbors). It will be very important to attend the meeting to obtain additional information and confirm our interest in fiber optics. Amy is maintaining an email list of all who have contacted BEC expressing an interest in fiber optics. If you have not yet written a short note to BEC, then please take a moment to do so. Your note need not be lengthy but it is important that your voice be heard, so please take a moment to email one or more of the following BEC representatives; please consider copying me (gary_m_gonzales@yahoo.com) on the email: William (Bill) Hetherington, General Manager b.hetherington@banderaelectric.com Brian Brockel, Manager of Strategic Products and Services b.brockel@banderaelectric.com Richard McDonald, Manager of Information Technology r.mcdonald@banderaelectric.com Tim Landes, Telecommunications Specialist t.landes@banderaelectric.com As usual, additional information will be forthcoming as we continue the effort to bring fiber optics to our community.
