We are continuing to put pressure on the local council (and other authorities) urging them to act to ban the Bungay Boxing Day Hunt Parade.

Dear Bungay Town Councillors, yet again The Waveney & Norfolk Harriers ignore the requests of the police and yourselves to apply for a road closure and to form a proper event management plan. This puts everyone at risk and it is only a matter of time before something happens that the town will regret.
There were verbal threats and actual violent assaults, theft of property, swearing at protestors. Roads were illegally blocked and non road worthy quads were ridden down the roads. In addition, it was reported that a hunt hound was sadly hit by a car (and lies from hunt support that protestors kicked him!!!). Photos show him being carried away.
We call on you to act, along with the relevant authorities to ensure that this event does not go ahead illegally again in 2024.
