Here is an update so far I understand people have been extremely reluctant to sign.
I have had a meeting with Mr Paul of Hastings district member of parliament.
And mentioned that he is going to be raising something in state parliament about the issues that have been raised here however I haven't received a formal response as to what he is intending on actually doing.
I have spoken with Zoe McKenzie of Flinders federal member of parliament on several different occasions she informed me that she is taking issues seriously and would get back to me about what she could do as this typically is a state issue not so much a federal issue.
However some of the points about surveillance cameras in known trouble spots can be a federal funding issue however has not indicated definitively weather further action would actually be taken she extended an invitation to me for a PCA meeting at frankston which she advised was brought forward she led me to believe she intended on attaining this meeting.
When I attended this meeting which was just yesterday it was only a meeting about crimes about frankston which Zoe herself did not attend she did not offer any explanation as to why she said she would be attending and did not poll advised he would have a representative as he was in state parliament however I did not see any such representative I spoke to a few police higher command members that would present however I couldn't really comment on issues specifically around Hastings only frankston as this was focusing on only frankston it seems like it was at decoy to try to deflect some of the heat from the protest and this petition which I do not particularly take kindly to I'm going to give it another few weeks and see what actually happens if nothing particularly happens I will make it a much more of an issue during the state election which will be the middle of next year which will be very disappointing.
