My phone has been flooded with news articles about the huge spikes in oil prices over the weekend. Petrol at my local station has already jumped 10p per litre in the last 7 days, I'm anticipating it'll jump more soon. 

At the start of the Russia Ukraine conflict, we saw the price cap jump to £4,279 and the government had to step in and pay half of our energy bills! I give more of an explanation in the article in the first link, but it is really really important - if you're on a variable tariff please move to a fixed one! Even if bills only rise a little, fixing your energy deal protects you! Second link above takes you to Free Price Compare to compare best prices for you. 

Best case scenario: you could end up literally saving thousands of pounds on your energy bills.
Worst case scenario: you're still saving around £100 on your energy bills! It's a win-win.
