Evening everyone,
Article: Timeline of Conversation with Ofgem on the £4bn Excess Profits DNOs have received
100s of new people have already joined!: Check if you're eligible to claim up to £10,000 compensation from the High Court Dieselgate cases this October
Dieselgate Petition nearing 2,000: UK Government to Match US, Canada and Germany on the Dieselgate Scandal!
Sorry if you've signed the other petition and seen this update. Effectively we have a whole separate petition (with nearly 50,000 signatures!) calling for Ofgem to give us back £4bn of excess profits that were paid to distribution networks. It was some accident in the Ofgem formula that meant we overpaid on standing charges to the tune of £130 each. Anyway, they've taken about 12 weeks to reply to one letter, and it was a lacklustre response in my opinion.
Earlier this week I decided to respond to that generic email and asked some more pressing questions, I've given a full timeline of the communication we've had with Ofgem in the top link to this update, including the exact email I sent to Ofgem today. Please give it a read and let me know if there is anything I should be adding going forward.
Additionally, I've included links to the dieselgate petition and where you can join the legal cases. I'm trying to grow this petition as much as possible over the next couple of months, so will continue to add them to updates. Please do give them a read and sign the petition and check if your old diesel cars are eligible for any of the legal cases.
Thanks everyone, have a good evening!
