I started this petition almost a year ago. Within this year, even the federal court system is saying the EPA is wrong! http://www.motherjones.com/tom-philpott/2015/09/federal-court-nixes-epa-approval-pesticide-known-be-highly-toxic-honey-bees Afterward, the EPA came out and actually admitted that these insecticides (called neonicotinoids), are the CAUSE of the catastrophic death of our pollinators, and especially bees. But, the EPA has YET to outlaw the manufacturing or use of these insecticides. It takes years for the residual effect of these poisons to be eradicated from our environment. There is so much sound evidence, that my question is, why are they not DOING something about it now? I am taking this petition to the EPA this Friday, April 22, 2016, (Earth Day!) for a meeting with them, and I am presenting this petition. I’m asking for one last signature, so that it can make the boldest statement possible. Please sign this very important petition IF you haven't signed it yet.
