Dear Supporters,

I wanted to provide an important update regarding our collective efforts to address the pervasive issue of scalping on platforms like Mercari and eBay. Despite our numerous reports and appeals, it has become evident that these companies are failing to take meaningful action against scalpers.

After reporting several listings and users engaging in scalping on both Mercari and eBay, I have been disheartened to find that no concrete steps have been taken to address these violations. Furthermore, my follow-up inquiries revealed a troubling lack of accountability. Both companies indicated that while reports are reviewed, there is no transparency or assurance that any action is taken. It appears that the reporting process often leads to no tangible outcomes, allowing scalpers to continue exploiting genuine buyers unchecked.

This lack of accountability undermines the trust and integrity of these marketplaces and highlights the urgent need for more robust measures and transparency in handling scalping reports. Our voices matter, and we must continue to push for these platforms to implement stricter policies and more effective enforcement to protect consumers.

Thank you for your continued support in this crucial endeavor. Together, we can advocate for fairer and more transparent practices on these platforms.

Sincerely,

Anna
