Langley resident? Please attend the city council meeting on Monday.

The Langley city council will discuss fireworks at its meeting on Monday, August 1, and there's an opportunity for citizens to speak. If you are a Langley resident, please attend. Whether you speak or not, it's important for the council to see a show of support for this issue. The meeting begins at 5:30. Effecting change takes effort and persistence, and I am only now learning that people have been trying to ban fireworks in Langley for more than 10 years. Let's get this done!
