So we are now on Day Two of the 2.6 Challenge.
Firstly, let me thank the people who have supported us so far with a donation. Please keep them coming because we can’t do the crucial to ensure wild lion survival without your support. There is so much work still to be done if we are to save our magnificent lions and to get lion trophy hunting banned once and for all.
This 2.6 Challenge offers us a unique opportunity to increase the donations we receive with a supplement from a general fund specifically set up for the Challenge. Simply put, the more you donate to us directly, the more we can additionally receive from the general Challenge fund.
• Derek Cattani's challenge is to squeeze 26 of his favourite photos from his book "Christian the Lion" The Illustrated Legacy" and print an A3 poster size collage, which he will auction off for LionAid.

• Hannah Coates's challenge is that every other day for a week she is going to run 2.6 miles dressed as a lion - lion ears, whiskers and lion t-shirt!

• Pieter Kat’s challenge is writing 26 entertaining bush stories.
These bush stories are each a humorous but factual recounting of his life as a lion researcher in Botswana.
The mayhem he recounts when the baboons stole the freshly baked bread from his kitchen had me crying with laughter!!
