Today is World Health Day!

Let's use the opportunity to update you all on how coronavirus has changed our lives and how it has negatively affected trophy hunting as one positive outcome. 

It should come as no surprise that the coronavirus outbreak has halted all trophy hunting across the world - simply because the hunters are not able to travel. Today was supposed to be the first day of the "hunting season" in Botswana, but it looks like this "season" will be delayed for the foreseeable future, much to the chagrin of the hunting operators who have had to "invest" considerable sums of money in purchasing quota, setting up the hunting camps, hiring staff and professional hunters etc. 

This pandemic has caused so many changes, and it can only be hoped that when it fades, people will look back on some of the things they did before corona and realise such activities are no longer supportable - trophy hunting being one of them.
