We have some exciting news: today we're going to meet DEFRA to discuss a ban on lion trophy imports! We'll hopefully meet with DFID too. We were invited to these meetings because of our project to count lions in Tanzania. 

On Wednesday there is also a Westminster Hall debate on trophy imports... there's a growing feeling that this issue is being taken seriously in government. 

We don't know what will happen next but there have also been reports in the press that the government is on the verge of agreeing to ban trophy imports! Please share the petition as widely as possible to keep pressuring the government to do the right thing and help save lions.
