On 16 September 2025, the UN Independent International Commission of Inquiry on the Occupied Palestinian Territory, including East Jerusalem, and Israel found that Israel has committed genocide against Palestinians in the Gaza Strip (source) (source).

The sporting organistations (including but not limited to FIFA, IOC, ITF, and UEFA) cannot ignore these findings and must take appropiate action.
