Man seen with weapons soon walking in front of schools in Austin

Recently a man has been seen walking past schools in Austin armed with a semi-automatic rifle. He has been deemed not a threat, and he is only expressing his Second Amendment rights. Although he is correct that he has the right to carry firearms, it is not appropriate to be walking past places where children are. Seeing a man in a ski mask with a gun strapped to his back would be terrifying to see as a child at school. 

The man was on the public sidewalk, not on the school property, but was still visible to the students. This just proves that the laws need to be changed. Students need to feel safe at school and should not be exposed to this kind of behavior while in a school setting.
