At the city Council meeting 6 PM on March 6, they are introducing item 4D in which they are allocating $116,000 to hire a firm to smooth out the bumps in the process of making scooters PERMANENT!  They are doing this without any public input at all!

At the same meeting, in item 5B, they are spending another $75,000 to hire another consulting firm to tell them how to make West Hollywood generally safer for people with disabilities!

This is complete and utter hypocrisy! Hiring  one firm to put us in JEOPARDY, and another firm to keep us SAFE?  Does that make any sense? NO!

If you can come and talk at the city Council meeting and tell them how scooters have made how it difficult to walk or how you have to avoid scooters abandoned on sidewalks, and  also demand a poll on whether to keep or ban e-scooters, it might help…a poll of WeHo residents ONLY!

I will be there to speak out, and I hope you will be too! Or, if you can’t come, you will call into the meeting!
