Friends, As you ponder over who to give your vote on May 9th, think about animals. We all know how ignored animal issues are in politics and it’s up to people like us to make sure animal issues are a key election issue. From my work running this petition I’ve gained quite a bit of knowledge on which parties would bring positive results for animals, I’m providing my input for you below: BC Liberals - Over their years in government, they have not stood up for animals. Instead they have protected factory farmers and ignored activists like ourselves. BC NDP - With Lana Popham as their Critic for Agriculture (Minister of Ag. if elected), they have shown leadership for animal welfare. Lana supports our petition and would be an exceptional Minister of Agriculture for animal issues. Trusting them with your vote would show well for animals BC Green Party - Another superb choice. Their leader Andrew Weaver presented our petition in the Legislature. Green MLA’s are not afraid to raise “fringe” issues like this, placing your vote with them would be a great decision for animal welfare. As some of you may know, I have strong views on which party I believe is best for our province. But out of respect for your commitment to this issue, I’ve provided completely unbiased information so you can vote for animals. If you want to hear more about my thoughts on this election or have some suggestions on how we can move forward, please email me: nedtaylor27@gmail.com Thank you all so much! Ned Taylor P.S.
