Trustee's Niece posts a comment and tries to derail petition

Thank you for your comment Ruba Balasothy but I am afraid your opinions may be marred by the fact you are related to one of the Trustees. You first comment was removed because it was inflammatory; calling dedicated and long standing volunteers and members liars is not constructive. We all agree that the current Trustees have done a great job of building the Temple into a premier Hindu institute. The Life members who elected these Trustees and to whom they are accountable asked the Trustees in 2012 to reform the organisation to make it ‘Democratic Transparent and Accountable’. A draft constitution was drawn up taking into account all stakeholders wishes (including the Trustees). Unfortunately the Trustees are unable to agree to call an EGM to allow members to vote on the new constitution. Most recently two of the Trustees claim that the 295 Life members are not actually members and have written to them saying so!
