Across our country, small businesses provide goods and services that enrich our every day lives. They also provide jobs and incomes that drive social mobility in Britain. Despite all of this, life for independent local businesses can be difficult. Costs, taxes and regulations are ever more burdensome. Every customer that spends money at a local business is hugely important to it's long term survival. Therefore, I want to start a national movement encouraging people to #ShopLocal at every opportunity. When you buy food, office supplies, household goods, and every day items... try and do so at a local business.
