With Covid-19, exponential rise in usage of NWPP bags

The comments made by most of us under the petition leave no doubt how concerned all of us are to the issue raised. NWPP is another issue of bad things for environment are being replaced by worse. 

With Covid pandemic, there is huge increase in the rampant usage of these NWPP bags with increase in home deliveries of food and other essential items. This exponential rise in these NWPP bags is further increasing the burden on landfills and breathable air in equal proportions.

At the same time it is also apparent, the citizenry at large is realizing the need for realignment with natural ways of living. And realizing the need the need to relook into the their consumption patterns of natural resources. 

Baba Ramdev, the citizenry at large listens to you and your words have magic to guide and help masses to adopt environment friendly consumption patterns.

It's been heart-warming to witness you, Baba Ramdev coming on TV and advising the citizenry to work on the basics. Your advise to focus more on natural food and body mobility and strengthen body's immune system is remarkable.

With this petition we are requesting Baba Ramdev to send an advise to all the Patanajali stores to stop keeping the NWPP bags and cut down on plastic disposables packaging. And help strengthen the immunity of the environment.

Such an acknowledgement/"prachar" from Baba Ramdev will have a far reaching awareness on the disastrous effects of these NWPP bags. This will set an example for all other retail stores in India and the home delivery organizations
