The first mention of these petitions is now with the decision makers at the council. I started paper petitions (so last century) at the Street Market, for customers and Traders, when this first began.
I HAVE BEEN TOLD THAT THE SUGGESTION TO CHANGE THE RULES WILL NOT BE DEBATED UNTIL THE NEW YEAR.
If this is so then we have time to gather more support , on line and on paper.
YOUR HELP IS NEEDED! Please continue to pass this on to anyone who will sign and make comments too.
Bad news, is that the licensing officer, a councillor, who I contacted individually , is not supportive.
I have contacted about 50 councillors, all that I could, with information about our concerns for this Street Market.
One, so far , has offered support.
I know that at this time of year we can be distracted by other things but please try to push this along.
