We have to keep going...

We have received so many personal emails from people sharing their stories and heartache by our Emergency Mental Health system. I would like to share one I just received by a supporter. "I have had two kids in the mental health system, wait until they get into the adult system... it will be shocking... my 25 year old son thinks animals talk to him , people read his minds, he on over 10 meds... constantly asks for help, is depressed, wants to die. when i call the police they take him to the hospital , over 4 times this christmas.... keep him in for about 4 days. ive lost my house, my friends, my family. its unbelievable. I dont know what else to do.he lives like an animal in a trailer. we need to mobilize as a society and push for help. the case manger has never called him. this child mental health system is just the beginning, often their is a family stigma. they just blame the kids mental health on the families.its archaic."
