The world is becoming more complex than ever and too interconnected than ever to fail. Just look at the Ukraine-Russia war where price of chickens went up across Malaysia due to supply disruption of chicken feed.
With automation it is no longer true that countries like Malaysia can offer call center jobs to Malaysians for long because chat bots can replace that customer service channel. With AI, this will happen sooner rather than later.
With 30% of Malaysian workers having tertiary education something must be done to create high value jobs and reskill workers such as at AirAsia Academy.
