Change the parking system in Aylesbury Shopping Park
This petition had 1,426 supporters
It has become very clear that UKPC is incapable of servicing the ticket machines in Aylesbury retail park in Cambridge close. At all times there at least two machines out of service and at times there is often only one working in the whole car park. People using the car park often have to walk to several different ticket machines before they find one that's working.
This makes it very inconvenient for people using the car park and constitutes a health and safety risk when people have to cross to the other side of a very busy car park with few pedestrian walkways, especially for those with disabilities or parents with young children.
We propose that the owners 'Aviva life and pension UK limited' end their relationship with UKPC and install an automatic camera system similar to that used by Morrisons and pets at home. People working on the site would be able to register their vehicles with the system and everyone else using the car park would automatically get 2 hours free parking without having to try and find a working machine. At the very least UKPC should install more machines to make them more easily accessible and introduce a regular maintenance program.
The shopping park is a very popular destination for visitors to Aylesbury and the total disregard for it's customers by UKPC is an embarrassment to the town.
This petition has been created to highlight the fact that everyone who uses the retail park would like the situation resolved and will be presented to the owners of the park once it has reached everyone who would like to sign it.
