Le problème

Every day, millions of autistic people and their families are surrounded by misunderstanding and isolation. Autism isn’t something to cure – it’s a natural neurological difference, another way of sensing and connecting with the world.

Modern science confirms that neurodiversity is part of the natural variability of humanity. When we recognize this, everything shifts:

  • Autistic people can thrive as themselves instead of being seen as problems to fix.
  • Families can receive real support and acceptance, freeing them from guilt.
  • Society becomes richer and kinder by embracing different minds and valuing diversity.

That’s why we call on institutions, governments and educators to:

  • Officially acknowledge that autism is a neurological difference, not a disease.
  • End shame‑based, pathologizing approaches that aim to “cure” autistic people.
  • Promote laws, environments and training that respect, welcome and adapt to autistic individuals.

Every signature counts. By adding your name, you affirm that autistic children aren’t “sick” or “broken” — they simply need to be understood and respected in environments that suit them. You tell the world that autistic adults don’t need curing; they need recognition, respect and opportunities to flourish.

Together, we can change the way society sees autism so no child grows up feeling “wrong” and every autistic person has the chance to thrive.

Thank you for lending your voice.
