The Queensland Government have announced today they will legislate to remove Statute of Limitation that is currently preventing sexual abuse victims from seeking financial redress from institutions who have wronged them. However this partial pending victory does not absolve the Royal Commission of their duty to victims in seeking full justice in Case Study 34. The Royal Commission have thus far not communicated their intentions to accept the demands of this petition and therefore victims call on the Royal Commission to make a statement to satisfy victims.
