A message from Ange: Hello. I'm assuming I don't have gag orders anymore, but I'm not sure! I would like to open my heart & send all of you beautiful, kind, compassionate & loving souls, a very deep, heart felt thank you & would like you all to know how grateful I am, for all of your support. You gave me hope & courage, in my darkest hours, when it felt like I had very little. I decided to go public, knowing very well, that I would be ridiculed. My intentions came from a space of love. I wanted parents to know & understand what little rights we have for our children in the hospital system. I believe every parent should be aware of this, prior to presenting your child to a hospital. My best interests have always been for Oshin & I know this to be true. I have cried many tears over the lies & false information given to further advance their agenda. I have always been honest & transparent when dealing with the medical system. I believe every parent deserves to have the truth presented to them by all medical staff. This has not been my experience and it will be changed! Parents have the right to ask serious questions about treatment and diagnosis of their child. They should not be abused, lied to, harassed or fear mongered. They deserve complete honesty, and a bit of compassion would be nice too. Our family has been put through absolute hell for no good reason and to the detriment of Oshin. I am a very reasonable & honest woman and we have been treated unjustly. I tried very hard to come to an agreement, but some are so stubborn, it made it extremely difficult to agree. While Oshin was still an inpatient after surgery, I asked could he please have chemotherapy only? "No he must have both" was the reply. There was never an option that I presented, that was even looked at or seen as possible. There is obviously a lot more to this story, but for now, 6 months later, after enduring all that has been thrown at us, we are right back to the first question I asked. This system needs to change & it will. Oshin is home now but must start chemotherapy very soon. Thank you to everyone again, for all of your support.
