Help keep me and my kids together!

Please help keep us together

I am writing this letter today as I am completely overwhelmed and at breaking point, I have 15 days to go before I have to leave the country.

My family and I were given the opportunity to leave South Africa and venture to Australia for a better quality of life. We have lived in Australia for 14 years. Seven years ago I left my husband due to emotional trauma (Still seperated not divorced). 4 years ago, my husband under the guise of his lawyer removed me from the visa application (he being primary applicant). He and the children have since become Australian Citizens. The company I have worked for, for 10 years sponsored me for a 4 year duration which ends on the 26th September 2016.

On Wednesday this week I attended a meeting with the CEO , the company lawyers, HR and one other person. The lawyers said not to go ahead with a second 457 due to the political agenda at present but to go through with the parental sponsorship as I am over 50. This means I have to leave the country on the 27th of September for at least 18 months to two years and return to South Africa. The lawyer re-iterated that the government is not fond of authorising this visa and plan on aboloshing it in the near future. This is such a grey area and I feel like i'm just banging my head against a brick wall no matter which way I turn.

I am begging for help and will do anything in my power to remain in Australia. I cannot go back to South Africa as everything I have is here. I have been a good citizen and contributed to this country since arriving. I am self sufficient, work full time, pay my taxes and have never been penalised for anything. I have created a happy environment/home for myself and the children which we will have to give up. My children both live with me, and as you can imagine are my everything! They would never be able to live in SA as they see themselves as totally Australian. If I have to pack up and leave by the 27th of this month, it will mean breaking up a perfectly happy family and sending me miles away from my children. I would have to sell off everything I own and leave with the literally the clothes on my back. I can't get my head around this and am now completely and utterly desperate. I was under the impression that Australia was a democratic country and cannot understand why they would breakup and traumitise another family unit!!! WHY?? My son is overseas at present on tour with "Flume" for quite a long period. I have since spoken to him and told him not to come home as there is nothing he can do from this end. My daughter is with me and is so traumatised at present and has become ill over this scenario.

Over the years I have seen numerous lawyers and immigration agents, community lawyers etc. Their suggestions have all been the same, marry an Australian, parental sponsorship or the 457 sponsorship.

As I mentioned above I am now desperate and need what ever help I can get.

Thank you for time and patience.
