Animal cruelty in the caged eggs industry is gruesome. Chickens are put under torture 24/7 in both treatment and living conditions. Chickens have the space of an A4 sized piece of paper. There is no room to engage in normal chicken behaviour such as scratching, flapping wings or foraging. Chickens can sometimes result into pecking at each other and do damage. The industry's idea of fixing this is to slice the end of their beaks off and it is excruciating to eat. How would you feel if this was you?
