ILLEGAL BEHAVIOUR SANCTIONED BY THE ACCC


Further to the ACCC turning a blind eye to false testimonials now exceeding 4,000 by a Phony Florist business, documentary evidence shows how the ACCC prefers to protect the crooks, rather than investigate them.

ACCC documents reveal that in 2018, a Freedom of Information (FOI) request was made to the ACCC regarding this particular business. That request was for information as to how many complaints had been made about the business, in its then current and previous form.

The ACCC provided documented information that it would take approximately 1,371 hours of staff time to collate the relevant documents that consisted of 2,664 pages within 444 documents, and if one person was dedicated to processing the FOI request, it would take that person working 5 days a week, 38 weeks to complete the task.

CLEARLY THE ACCC were in possession of an absolutely massive amount of complaints against this business, and that was just up to the beginning of 2018.

HOWEVER UNBELIEVABLY, instead of seeking to assist the FOI applicant in some way, or do something constructive about the complaints, by correspondence dated 16 January 2018 and 13 March 2018, Kate McIntyre Principal Lawyer ACCC Legal Group chose to protect the crooks running this business, by refusing the FOI request for reasons that included the following :
• I find that disclosure of documents relating to the number of complaints against this business would, or could reasonably be expected to, adversely affect the business and the family running it in respect of their lawful business affairs.
• There is minimal public interest in this information being known.

IS IT ANY SURPRISE that these crooks have been allowed to continued their behaviour with impunity ???

So what’s happening now ???

In running their purported “lawful business”, there is substantial evidence that that these crooks manufacture and publish approximately EIGHT to TEN FALSE SELF SERVING TESTIMONIALS PER DAY, which currently amount to over 4,000 within a 16 month period.

The ACCC have been offered this evidence but the ACCC decline to accept it, and continue to do NOTHING. As such I believe that the ACCC can only be as bad as the crooks, by sanctioning their illegal behaviour.
