Unfortunately the pictures we see of the Great Barrier Reef are inaccurate representations of its current condition. Industrial development in the area such as dredging and dumping are destroying our beautiful Reef. With only about 7% not destroyed by climate change, the time to save our reef is now. The Federal Government needs to use its power over the state government before we have no reef left.
