Today Malcolm Turnbull has set out plans to change the eligibility for Citizenship. This means people who were hoping to apply for their citizenship after living in Australia for 4 years (1 year as a permanent residence) will now have to wait until they have spent 4 years in Australia as a Permanent Residence. 

Malcolm has also decided he wants to put in place a new test about Australian Values. While he denies that the are aimed at people from certain countries, background, culture and religions its clear to see he isn't telling the truth as he was unable to clearly point out what these values are anymore.
