Stop the noise pollution from ACU North Sydney

Stop the noise pollution from ACU North Sydney
The issue
The North Sydney Campus of the Australian Catholic University (ACU) is in the middle of a residential neighbourhood and yet the ACU management routinely conducts excessively noisy maintenance, construction, alarm testing and student events on Saturday mornings.
Complaints to the ACU, North Sydney Council and the local police achieve nothing. We want the ACU to respect their neighbours and stop the noise pollution, especially Saturday mornings, Sundays, and after 9pm on week nights.
For example, Saturday March 18, 2017, the ACU conducted a test of their external and internal fire and evacuation alarms that started just after 8am and continued for over an hour. The noise could be heard a block away. Saturday February 2, 2017, the ACU started a chainsaw and industrial wood chipper just before 8am and kept it going for about 4 hours. This was so loud it drowned out the traffic noise on the Pacific Highway. Neither of these activities needed to be conducted early on a Saturday morning, when the majority of ACU's neighbours are more likely to be at home.
North Sydney Council needs to do its duty and protect the rights of residents from this ongoing barrage of noise pollution from the ACU campus.
