The first 24hrs of support has been great!

Firstly thank you everyone for your support. The first 24hrs of support has been amazing. Most petitions don't make it this far, which to me signals that we are trying to change something that matters. And I hope you continue to follow us on this journey.
On that note it's important to keep up the momentum. So if you haven't already please share the petition on Facebook, social media and even email to help get the word out. The more support this petition gets the more likely we can make a difference.
The issue of census anonymity is slowing gaining traction in the media, but this is the first (to my knowledge) petition asking the government and ABS to reverse its decision on the census. Without anonymity the data collected in future censuses will be drastically under-minded as less of the population are willing to provide true information.
Over the weekend I hope to finalise a letter to be sent out to the ABS and elected members of government. If you have any suggestions and simply want to get more involved please feel free to get in touch.
Regards,
Drew
