As many of you may have heard, the RBA Governor recently announced that there will be no rate cuts, and that Australians struggling with high interest rates might have to sell their homes.

First time ever you would have heard a RBA Governor who said, we don't care about your situation either sell your home or pay high rates because we decided to increase them to fill the pockets of banks and other business.

The Governor mentioned that only 5% of Australians are facing difficulties, indicating a lack of concern for those affected, even if it means they end up homeless or unable to keep up.

Meanwhile, taxes are collected, and high rates persist, enriching supermarkets and banks that have reported billions in profits.

Economists are loudly pointing out that inflation is driven by:

Profits from major grocery chains and big businesses
Government spending (including salary increases for the PM and Governor-General)
Investors driving up rents and reaping profits
Gen Z, who have substantial Super balances and no mortgages
It seems we live in a country where those with lower incomes are deprived of a decent standard of living.

This is not the Australia we envisioned. The RBA seems more focused on benefiting the wealthy than supporting hardworking Australians

It's time to take action against the RBA and the government for not helping reducing rates.

  • We could all walk out of our jobs for one week from all industries demanding RBA to cut rates immediately
  • (or) stop paying the high interest rates until they are reduced.

Please add comments on how as citizens we can take action against RBA and the government,  who have been struggling since the last two years with Government and RBA providing no help to come out of this situation.
