This petition started being primarily focused on Queensland, Australia, because Just Cause 316 is based in Queensland.

As people across the nation, and some internationally, share their story, the outcry for widespread significant change is definitely heard. As such, this petition has been amended to be on a national level with the hope to then inspire international reform. 

Just Cause 316 since December 2021 has emailed Queensland politicians and media outlets. In Facebook/Meta posts, premier and shadow ministers from various states have been tagged, as have media.  

In Queensland, there has been a lot of coverage regarding concerns around integrity, transparency, accountability and responsibility within State Government departments. Much more discussion should be had about Child Protection though.

It is great that whistle-blowers are coming forward, people are beginning to speak out. Reprisal still occurs for those that do. We must continue though because tyranny relies on silence. The more people speak out and advocate, the more it empowers light to shine on the dark, systemic issues within Child Protection. 

Just Cause 316 has been relentless behind the scenes. There are things in motion which will eventually become known. For the meantime, widely share this petition, encourage discussions, and respectfully challenge indifference.
