The case of the Turpin children really impacted me. Knowing these children were being locked in cages, starved and abused while neighbors really had no idea, makes me wonder how we can educate people more on how to spot a situation that would warrant a call to child protective services, which are always anonymous, in that the people being checked on aren’t told how called.
